Privacy policy

Clark Health Technologies, LLC, operating as The Standard (“The Standard,” “we,” “us”) operates this website. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not practice medicine. Prescribing, clinical consultations, payment, and pharmacy fulfillment are handled by our telehealth partner at gen-health.app under their own privacy practices.

What we collect on this site

  • Contact details you give us — your email address, and a ZIP code if you provide one so we can tell you whether we are licensed in your state.
  • Your answers to our intake questionnaire — which of our therapeutic categories you are interested in, how familiar you are with peptide therapy, how soon you would want to start, what you would expect to pay, and, if you select weight, whether you have previously taken a GLP-1 medication.
  • A first-party analytics identifier stored in a cookie, along with any UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers present when you arrive, so we can tell which marketing channel sent you.
  • A recipient identifier if you arrive from one of our emails, so we can connect your responses to the message you received.
  • Standard server logs, including IP address and browser user agent.

Health-related information

Some of what you tell us on this site relates to your health. Choosing a category, or telling us whether you have taken a GLP-1 medication, says something about your health interests, and we treat that information accordingly. We are not a HIPAA covered entity for this website and the information you give us here is not protected health information under HIPAA, but several state laws — including the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370 — treat it as consumer health data and give you specific rights over it, described below.

We do not collect diagnoses, medical records, prescription history beyond the single GLP-1 question, identification documents, or payment information on this website. Those are collected by our telehealth partner if and when you continue to them.

Who we share it with

  • Klaviyo — email delivery and our contact records.
  • PostHog — product analytics, sent from our servers rather than your browser.
  • Meta — advertising measurement, only if you consent to marketing cookies. See below.
  • Cookiebot — recording and honoring your cookie choices.
  • Vercel, Sanity, and Sentry — hosting, content management, and error monitoring.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it to build or sell audience segments to anyone else.

What we deliberately do not send to advertising platforms

Advertising pixels normally transmit the full address of every page you view. Because some of our pages name a specific medication, we have restricted ours on purpose:

  • No advertising pixel loads on any page whose address names a medication or a therapeutic category — this holds even if you have accepted marketing cookies.
  • Conversion events carry a fixed placeholder amount rather than the real price of a plan, because a price would identify the specific medication.
  • Your email address is removed from the page address before the page loads, so it is never transmitted to an advertising platform in readable form.
  • Where we send location to analytics, we send only the first three digits of a ZIP code.
  • Nothing is sent to Meta at all unless you have accepted marketing cookies, on both the browser and the server side.

Your choices

You can decline marketing cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, or change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer. Declining stops all advertising measurement. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all marketing email.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to withdraw consent you previously gave, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of any “sale” or “sharing” of your information. Residents of Washington and Nevada have specific rights over consumer health data, including the right to have it deleted and to withdraw consent to its collection and sharing. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email hello@get-the-standard.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request about specific information.

Retention

We keep contact details and questionnaire answers for as long as you remain on our list, and delete them on request. Analytics records are pseudonymous and are retained on a rolling basis.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
