Telehealth consent
The Standard is operated by Clark Health Technologies, LLC, which is not a healthcare provider and does not practice medicine. Telehealth consultations are conducted by licensed U.S. clinicians via the gen-health.app platform. By beginning a consultation, you consent to receive medical evaluation, treatment, and any applicable prescription via secure video or asynchronous messaging — not an in-person visit.
What telehealth includes
- Review of your medical history and the questions you complete during intake.
- Consultation with a U.S.-licensed clinician who can write a prescription if appropriate.
- Coordination with a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy to prepare your medication.
- Cold-chain shipping to your address, with signature required.
- Monthly check-ins with your clinician for the duration of your prescription.
Limitations of telehealth
Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Your clinician may also determine that a particular concern requires an in-person visit and will tell you if so.
Records, privacy, and your rights
Records of your telehealth consultation are kept on the gen-health.app platform under their HIPAA-compliant practices. You have the right to a copy of your records, to ask questions about your care, and to revoke this consent at any time. Revoking consent stops future telehealth services but does not unwind care already provided.
